Organization of the start

Refreshment stations

Refreshment stations are located at approximately every 5 kilometres and at the finish line.

Pacemakers

Pacemakers will have flags with the target time.

Luggage storage

Luggage storage is provided at the start/finish of the race in the City stadium complex.

Sanitary facilities

Changing rooms, toilets and showers are available in the start/finish area. Toilets are also available on the routes according to the rules.

Chips timing

Race time is measured with chips. Chips are placed in the race bib and are nonrefundable. Race bibs must be placed on the runner’s chest, not on their backs. Please do not peel, bend, break or otherwise damage the chips or you risk not having your time measured.

Race time will be measured at the start and at the finish line. In the results we will display two times. First time is measured from the moment the starting gun fires and according to the athletics rules, rankings will be determined by the gun-time. The second time so called REAL TIME (usually it is the better time) is the time that starts when the runner crosses the starting line and stops when they cross the finish line.

In the relay race the time is measured thanks to the chip in the baton. The baton is only loaned to the teams and will be taken back after the 6th station at the finish. If it was not taken from you, please return it to the organisers.

Refreshment

Refreshments will always be provided approximately every 5 kilometres. Water, ionic drink, bananas, chocolate, raisins, and salt will be available at refreshment stations.

Runners can place their own refreshment at the stations. A bottle marked with the runner’s number needs to be placed at the station before the start of the race. Hand the battle over at the marked spot when you pick up your starting number.

A special refreshment area for marathon and half marathon runners will be set up at the finish line. Liquids, bananas and cookies will be available for the 10 km and relay runners.
